about Charlaine Harris
Charlaine Harris, who was born in the Mississippi Delta, has been writing for more than 25 years. Her first series was the librarian centered Aurora Teagarden. After that, she got a bit darker in her style by penning the Lily Bard series, which some people also call the Shakespeare series. Following those two, she broke out with the Sookie Stackhouse / Southern Vampire Mysteries series, which has won her world wide fame, as well as the television spin off True Blood.
